Cavalletto LCD1 is a design by Luisa Castiglioni from 1963. The original trestle was crafted in chestnut wood for Casa Castiglioni in Bocca di Magra, Liguria, now part of Boccamonte. The assembly of slender square-section profiles generates its articulated, self-supporting structure. Today, the trestle is reproduced in iroko wood, based on the original design.
